Project Summary

The Anatomy Resource Center features a fully navigable 3D model of the human body, self-assessment tools to test knowledge of locations and spelling of specific anatomy targets, and downloadable PDF study guides for printing or off-line use. Explore this model to learn about multiple systems of the human anatomy. Check your understanding with embedded questions, and print study handouts for reference.

Problem

The introductory biology students are in need of a comprehensive resource for learning human anatomy and physiology.

Solution

Academic Web Services plans to create an Anatomy Resource Center that can be implemented cross programmatically for nursing and health sciences. In the second phase of development will include a fully navigable 3d male model that targets all 9 systems.  In addition, this phase will include a self-assessment tool within each system.
