Project Summary

HLT-307 is the first course that students must complete in the Bachelor of Science in Health Science program at Grand Canyon University. This course is focused on professional dynamics and allied health professionals.

Problem

Students need to be able to identify the roles of each allied health professional and thoroughly understand their own roles as allied health providers within a specific scope of practice. The students need a visual representation of the structure and organization which demonstrates and explains where each occupation fits in.

Solution

AWS will create an interactive media piece which graphically represents the interaction of each allied health professional with one another in a hospital setting. This element will also give students the ability to visualize their own role and scope of practice as well as their importance with respect to treating patients.
